GULF BREEZE, Fla. – Pacers forward Danny Granger has had surgery on his injured left knee.

In a news release, the team called Granger’s surgery successful. Dr. James Andrews and Team Orthopedist Dr. Tim Hupfer performed the procedure in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

The Pacers anticipate that Granger will make a full recovery and expect him to be ready for the start of training camp. The injured Pacers star had surgery prior to the season for patellar tendinosis and appeared in only five games. Other efforts to rehabilitate the knee were unsuccessful, and Granger still felt pain despite the initial procedure.

The Pacers announced last week that Granger would miss the rest of the season after waiting to see if he’d return.
