BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — A woman put out the call on Facebook to see who needed groceries for Thanksgiving, and the community has decided to join her cause.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office and the community chest are pitching in to help deliver groceries to 61 houses, which will feed 172 children. The sheriff's office is dedicating the effort to fallen Deputy Jake Pickett.
