INDIANAPOLIS (May 28, 2014) – A homegrown Hoosier health management company will expand its headquarters and add up to 450 new jobs across the state.

Gov. Mike Pence joined officials from OurHealth Wednesday for the announcement, which will double the size of the company’s corporate headquarters. OurHealth, described as an “integrated on-site health management company,” will invest nearly $20 million to lease, renovate and equip an additional 10,000 square feet of office space. It’s currently headquartered at the OneAmerica Tower in downtown Indianapolis. Plans also call for the leasing of clinics across the state that will provide healthcare services for employers.

The company plans to start hiring certified medical assistants, health coaches, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and doctors in June. More information about those positions is available at the OurHealth website.

Founded in 2009, the company works with employers to provide primary care for employees. It’s based on a model that includes a primary care clinic as a hub offering preventative care, wellness and lifestyle management services and patient referral guidance support. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce chose OurHealth as a 2014 Best Place to Work.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered OurHealth more than $4.7 million in conditional tax credits and $200,000 in training grants based on its expansion and job creation plans.
