INDIANAPOLIS — Two people are injured after a police pursuit ended with a crash on the near north side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of burglary in the 1000 block of Groff Avenue on the city’s west side.

Officers found the suspected vehicle with three people in it. Police say they tried to pull the vehicle over but were led on a chase.

The chase ended with a crash in the 2900 block of North Meridian Street.

The suspect vehicle hit another vehicle as well as a pedestrian, according to IMPD. Authorities say the driver of that other vehicle was taken to the hospital, and the pedestrian is listed in critical condition.

No officers were injured in the crash.

Police say two people of interest are in custody, and one more person may be at large.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
