IMPD Chief Troy Riggs invites community to participate in Ride for Peace

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- IMPD Chief Troy Riggs stopped by the FOX59 Red Couch to invite you to join him and the Ten Point Coalition for the first Ride for Peace July 9 at 9 a.m.  All of central Indiana is invited.

Chief Riggs also talked to FOX59's Fanchon Stinger about 4th of July preps in the city. He says in light of the recent terror attacks, IMPD and their federal partners are ready.

He is also reminding you to say something if you see something. Even an innocent looking argument could escalate into something bigger, so Chief Riggs says "say something!"

Chief Riggs also touched on the new beat patrols and the immediate success in locking up more bad guys. He says if you're on the wrong side of the law, IMPD is coming and they will keep coming after you.
