INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death on the near northwest side and another man showed up to an area hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday night.

Officers were called to a gas station in the 2900 block of Cold Spring Rd. on reports of person shot just after 7:30 p.m. When police arrived, they learned that someone had walked into the station to say a person was shot and then left.

A few minutes later, officer learned that a man, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, had walked into Methodist Hospital. He was reportedly in stable condition.

Around 8 p.m., officers located an unresponsive man in the middle of the street in the 2900 block of N Warman Ave. He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified the victim Wednesday as Devin White, 22, of Indianapolis.

Detectives believe the two incidents are related, but they say it is still early in the investigation and they will be working to piece together evidence to determine what led up to the shooting.
