INDIANAPOLIS–Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are investigating a serious stabbing incident on the city’s near east side.
It happened shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday on N. Ewing St. just south of E. New York St. There, investigators found a 43-year-old male victim suffering from what police describe as an “extremely critical” stab wound to the chest.
Detectives say the victim’s roommate came home and found him on the floor. Police are looking into the possibility that the stabbing is related to a robbery or attempted robbery. Two people were taken from the house in what appeared to be handcuffs.
