INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis firefighters rescued three men who became stuck on a scaffold outside the 19th floor of the Regions Tower building late Monday.
First responders say it happened just after 10 p.m. when the men became stuck while replacing a window on the side of the building.
IFD says one of the steel cables came off the pulley, which forced the men to have to hold onto the glass window. The crew tried to fix the cable for about two hours before calling first responders.
Firefighters set up ropes on the side of the building from the 36th floor. They used the ropes to help the workers secure the window, so they could lower it to the 5th floor deck.
Thankfully no one was hurt during the incident.
