The family at the Indianapolis zoo is growing.

The zoo posted pictures of a new baby cownose ray on its website Monday.

The little male pup was born on Feb. 24 and is actually the first cownose ray ever born at the zoo.

The rays are considered near-threatened species.

The zoo says the pup will remain a youngster for a while which should make him easy to spot in the pack.
