INDIANAPOLIS — Seven people are recovering from injuries after three different shootings across the city overnight.

One woman is injured and another is in critical condition after one shooting occurred at an east side apartment complex.

Officers were called just before 2 a.m. Sunday to Sussex Terrace and found two women with gunshot wounds. They were later transported to area hospitals in critical condition.

Police have arrested 19-year-old Raniya Lee for her alleged involvement in the shooting. Lee allegedly shot both of the women found on the scene as well as two other people police later connected to the shooting.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to three different walk-ins of people with gunshots at area hospitals overnight, including Lee. Detectives confirmed Sunday the two other people’s injuries were related to the Sussex Terrace incident.

A short time after that shooting, IMPD officers were called to an east side gas station at the intersection of 34th Street and Arlington Avenue on report of a person shot. IMPD said Sunday that officers found a man with a gunshot wound or wounds just after 2:30 a.m. at the Marathon Gas Station and he was transported to an area hospital.

Prior to these two shootings, IMPD also responded around 1 a.m. to Beeler Avenue on report of another person shot. Officers located the victim who was suffering from gunshot injuries and was last listed as awake and breathing.

Another person also walked into Community East Hospital with gunshot wounds overnight, although their injuries have not been connected to a shooting.
