TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Sept. 19, 2014)– Indiana State University Police have made an arrest in connection with a social media posting concerning a possible shooting.

Rashon Ke’nise Marshall-Bowen, 19, an Indiana State sophomore from Indianapolis, was booked into the Vigo County Jail on a preliminary charge of harassment, university police chief Joe Newport announced. She has since been released.

Her arrest stems from an investigation into Wednesday night’s post on the Yik Yak app that made a vague reference to a “school shooting.”

Marshall-Bowen is scheduled to appear in Terre Haute City Court on Monday.
