INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating a deadly shooting after two men were found shot at a gas station on the city’s far east side.

IMPD said they were called to North German Church Road and East 38th Street just before 12:30 p.m. for shots fired, Tuesday.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found two males who were shot. One was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition and passed after shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The deceased victim was later been identified as Travis Richmond Turner.
The other victim was reported as “awake and breathing” and transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
