UPDATE – According to Marion Police Department, 34-year-old Nicholas Deon Thrash has been arrested.
At around 3:49 p.m., he was reportedly located in the 3700 block of S. Selby St. Officers with MPD surrounded the residence and took Thrash into custody without incident.
Thrash was arrested based off of a Crime Stoppers Tip and will reportedly face 10 counts of child molesting. He is being held at the Grant County Jail on a $500,000 cash only bond.
On Aug. 29, 2018, he was found guilty on all 10 counts of child molestation that he was charged with. He will be sentenced on Sept. 20.
MARION, Ind. – Marion police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for child molesting.
Police say Nicholas Deon Thrash, 34, is wanted for 10 counts of child molesting which involves impregnating a 10-year-old girl.
He is described as a black male, 6’1” tall, and 160 pounds. It is believed that has fled Marion and is on the run at this time.

As part of the investigation, the victim’s mother was arrested on May 16 on two counts of felony neglect of a dependent.
