INDIANAPOLIS — Police found a man shot in the driver’s seat of a truck that crashed into a porch Wednesday on the near north side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified him as 26-year-old Dazion N. Dulin.

Police were called to the area of Guilford Avenue and East 23rd Street at about 1:30 p.m., where they found the truck along with Dulin inside.

IMPD said no one else was injured in the incident, and there is no indication that anyone was at the home when the crash occurred. 

“Preliminarily, this appears to be a targeted incident,” said the department in a press release.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
