INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An Indianapolis woman says a man she met on a dating app carjacked her and then burglarized her home.
According to the incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the woman went on a date with the man after meeting him on “Plenty of Fish,” an online dating website.
The woman said her date carjacked her in the early morning hours Monday near 30th Street and Ralston Avenue. Police found the woman at 30th and Orchard after she reported the incident.
Police believe the woman’s date then went to her home and stole additional items. The woman wasn’t hurt during the encounter, police said.
No arrest has been made and the case remains under investigation, according to IMPD.
