An arrest warrant was issued on June 3 for Carlos Espinosa-Gomez on an aggravated battery case. Espinosa-Gomez is five feet eight inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He’s wanted in connection with a March 2022 domestic disturbance in which he’s accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.

Prior to the violent encounter with Espinosa-Gomez, the woman had no complications with the pregnancy. She also said he was aware she was pregnant and they’d spoken “regularly about the baby.”

Espinosa-Gomez admitted he’d argued with the woman and took her phone. He denied hitting her. In addition to aggravated battery, he’s charged with domestic battery with bodily injury of a pregnant woman, battery resulting in bodily injury of a pregnant woman, confinement and interference with reporting of a crime.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Espinosa-Gomez is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
