INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A third man accused in the killing of Amanda Blackburn was charged with murder Thursday and appeared in court Friday for his initial hearing.

Diano Gordon had already been charged with burglary and theft, and now faces two counts of murder in the case.

In Friday’s court appearance, Gordon entered a not guilty plea for the murder charges and he was appointed a public defender.

Blackburn was shot and killed during a break-in back in November. Two other men, Larry Taylor Jr. and Jalen Watson are also charged with murder in connection with her death.

Gordon’s next hearing will be March 4 at 1:30 p.m.
