DANVILLE, Ind. (March 9, 2016)—Officers with the Danville Metro Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person wanted in connection with a bank robbery Wednesday.

Police say the suspect robbed the North Salem State Bank located at State Road 39 and West Main Street in Danville around 3:19 p.m.

The suspect is described to be about 5-feet-6-inches tall, 110-120 pounds and was wearing an orange knit hat with a camouflage hat over it. The person also wore black sunglasses, a red/orange undershirt with a camouflage shirt on top and a black hoodie with white draw strings.

Police say the suspect dumped their tennis shoes just east of the bank after fleeing.
