BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Nearly 100 police officers for Indiana University Bloomington, IUPUI and IU Northwest are now using body cameras.

IU officials say they’re trying to be more “transparent” with their police department.

IU’s contract with the company Utility also includes cameras for 23 police cars and four police motorcycles.

The university has not said how much the cameras cost.
