NEW YORK, NY – A jewelry company is making national headlines after they made a donation to Hillary Clinton’s campaign courtesy of Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka Trump recently purchased jewelry from New York-based Lady Grey Jewelry. Lady Grey designers Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader shared a picture on Instagram that shows a postcard addressed to Ivanka.

Martinelli and Le Guyader thanked Ivanka for her order and told her the profits from her purchase will be donated to the American Immigration Council, the Everything for Gun Safety organization, and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Martinelli told The Cut by New York Magazine in an email, “While we were flattered to receive an order from Ivanka Trump, our social and political views couldn’t be further from those of the Trump campaign. When we received her order, we instantly felt compelled to take the money and donate it to a few organizations that were more aligned with our ideals.”

Many people are sounding off about the company’s decision on their Instagram post, and there are nearly 10,500 comments.
