INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 2, 2015) – Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s near west side.

Police were called to Lafayette Road and Pike Plaza around 9:30 p.m. Saturday for a person shot.

A 19-year-old male was walking on Pike Plaza heard shots fired and then realized he had been shot.

He found a security guard who was working at a carnival nearby and police were called.

The teen was taken to Methodist hospital in good condition.

Police are still investigating the shooting and have not made any arrests.
