On the heels of New York fashion week, people in central Indiana were showing off their own version of this season’s trends.

The Sunday afternoon event was specifically focused on 2013 prom trends.

The “Afternoon of Glitz and Glamour” was put on by Tricoci University of Beauty Culture.

It was done as a way for the students to practice putting hair, makeup, nails and fashion together for a big event.

The event featured different designers, such as central Indiana-based Nikki Blaine.

Part of the event involved a raffle for a custom made prom dress by Blaine. You can still purchase tickets.  The dress is valued at $500 and only 50 tickets will be sold.
