CHICAGO — A video shot and posted to YouTube on Thursday shows the security line at Midway Airport stretching down corridors and around corners.
Posted by Sean H, it’s been viewed over 1 million times and was on the homepage of the social media site Reddit Friday morning.
Earlier this week, WGN showed you the same problem at O’Hare. Airport officials are asking people to arrive two to three hours before their flights
TSA has warned travelers to expect extensive delays this summer because of poor staffing. However, relief may be on the way. TSA just received congressional approval to re-allocate funds so they can increase security officers at all security check points.

Meanwhile, a website called “I hate the wait” asks people standing in line to tweet their frustration to the TSA while waiting in line with #IHateTheWait. People are also asked to Instagram their photos and tag @TSA.
The website is run by Airlines for America and asks that photos of specific TSA agents not be used.
