INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 17, 2014)— A young girl who was born with a chronic kidney disease got a special surprise from Make-A-Wish Thursday.
FOX59 has been following the recovery of 5-year-old Bella Cruz, who underwent a kidney transplant last year. The donor was Bella’s mother.
Since the surgery, Bella has been doing well.
Now, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Bella gets to spend time with her family in a pink castle that volunteers built for her. Bella’s princess castle includes a drawbridge, a tower, two slides and a place to store her stuffed animals.
