A man and a teen have been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman in Gas City.

Ashley Rheam, 28, was found dead in her home just hours after police had already been there, investigating a burglary.

Rheam had come home to find her door kicked in and various electronic items missing.

Now, police believe they have the two who committed those crimes.

Tyrell Lenoir (pictured), 23, and Matthew Tyra, 17, both of Marion, Ind. are facing  a single count of murder and a felony charge for robbery. Tyra is incarcerated in the Grant County Detention Center. Lenoir is incarcerated in the Grant County Jail. They are both being held without bond.

The 1993 Cadillac Eldorado, which detectives identified as having been stolen from the murder scene, was located abandoned on the northeast side of Marion, IN.

The Grant County Prosecutor gave permission for Tyra’s name to be released because his charges are under the jurisdiction of adult court. The juvenile court has no jurisdiction over him.

This is an ongoing investigation.
