Suspect arrested, charged with April murder of 48-year-old man

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 18, 2014)– Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) arrested an Indianapolis man on an outstanding warrant and formally charging him with murder.

Curtis Foster, 43, is charged with the murder of 48-year-old Jerome Warren on April 9, 2014 in the 5600 block of East 20th St.

The suspect was taken into custody Thursday evening around 11 p.m. in the 3900 block of Esquire Place without incident.  He is currently being held without bond.

Detectives received an anonymous tip from the community that the suspect was seen in the area of Esquire Place. The apparent motive for the shooting stemmed from an on-going argument.
