Police identify man killed in Monday night shooting on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 10, 2014)– A man has died following a Monday night shooting on the city’s east side.

Officers received a report of a person shot in the 700 block of North Bradley Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police identified him Tuesday as Ahmad Beech, 21, Indianapolis.

Police say Beech was shot at least three times in the leg and torso inside a home.

He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where he later died.

IMPD Homicide detectives are interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence from the scene. No suspect has been identified and detectives do not have a motive.
