INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are investigating a stabbing outside a pair of downtown bars.
The stabbing happened around 3 a.m. on South Pennsylvania Street. IMPD said one person went to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition. A witness at Coaches Tavern said there was some type of fight before the stabbing, which happened between the tavern and O’Reilly’s Irish Bar. That witness described seeing a man bleeding on the sidewalk and said he received initial treatment at Coaches Tavern.
Two crime vans were at the scene and police put up crime tape in the vicinity. IMPD said no one had been arrested or detained in connection with the incident.
