ANDERSON, Ind. (Mar. 3, 2016)– A man and woman with an infant in a car seat were seen fleeing the scene of an accident Thursday, The Herald Bulletin reports.

The crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. at West Sixth Street and Madison Avenue. A white Chevrolet Malibu and black Ford F150 truck collided and the truck was sent into a yard.

The two people inside the F150 grabbed a carseat with a baby from the vehicle and walked away.

The driver of the Malibu told the Herald Bulletin the man from the truck said he had to take the baby to the hospital.

Police have identified the driver of the truck, but he has not yet been arrested. He faces charges of driving while suspended with a prior offense and leaving the scene of an accident.
