INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Shops, bars and restaurants along Massachusetts Avenue downtown will be open until midnight on Friday, Nov. 18 for the 13th annual “Midnight Shopper” event.

The event allows Hoosiers to get a jump on their holiday shopping and support local businesses at the same time. The event also includes live entertainment, special store discounts, eclectic shopping and the debut of merchant 2016 holiday treasures.

Store owners hope the event provides Hoosiers with a chance to knock out shopping early so families can be together for Thanksgiving and not need to go out on Black Friday. The event begins at 5 p.m.

The following merchants are participating: Silver In The City, Crimson Tate Modern Quilter, Mass Ave Toys, Nurture, Arts A Poppin’, Three Dog Bakery, Chatterbox, The Frame Shop & Franklin Barry Gallery, Decorate, Mass Ave Pub, Yogülatte, Design Bank, Mass Ave Wine, Global Gifts, The Flying Cupcake, Old Point Tavern, The Nestle Inn, Handmade Promenade, Boomerang BTQ, Forty Five Degrees, MacNiven’s, Mass Ave Pub, Homespun, The Best Chocolate In Town and Indy Reads Books.

To get to the event, head northeast from Monument Circle to the diagonal Mass Ave Cultural District.
