INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (Jan. 25, 2014) — After the snow this weekend, we will see a drastic fall in temperatures at the start of next week.

With dangerous wind-chill levels on the way, Mayor Ballard is urging Hoosiers to check on the elderly, keep pets inside if possible and go to a shelter if needed.

“There are other shelters that will be made available if need be,” the Mayor said. “But we want people to understand that the shelters are open.”

He is also urging people to do their grocery shopping on Sunday so people don’t have to go out in the cold on Monday and Tuesday.
