Monon bank robbery suspect still at large

MONON, Ind -Tuesday around 10:45 a.m. the Alliance Bank at 319 North Market Street Monon, IN was robbed of an undisclosed amount of US Currency.



A preliminary investigation revealed that a white male, approximately six feet one inch tall wearing a light gray stocking cap with a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, walked into the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers. A handgun was displayed and after receiving the money the suspect fled the bank heading south on Market Street.

Police are asking that if anyone has information on the bank robbery to contact Indiana State Master Trooper Detective Jay Harper at 765-567-2125.
