WESTFIELD (Sept. 4, 2014) – A mortgage company plans a large expansion in Westfield that will create up to 360 new jobs over the next five years.
Carrington Mortgage Services will invest $3.17 million to renovate and equip a 77,000 square-foot facility in Westfield. Set to be up and running by the end of the year, the office will help grow the company’s loan origination and servicing departments.
Carrington—which is based in Santa Ana, Calif., and is a subsidiary of Carrington Holding Company, LLC—has more than 1,000 employees across the country. It employs 180 people in Indiana.
The company is hiring customer service representatives, servicing specialists, sales and marketing professionals, and underwriters. Interested applicants can visit the Carrington Mortgage Services website for more information.
Carrington provides services to support borrowers and investors. It serves both residential and corporate customers and places an emphasis on veteran’s service programs.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Carrington up to $3.65 million in conditional tax credits based on its job creation plans. Westfield is considering additional property tax abatement.
