Motorcycle charity ride marred by accident

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (August 22, 2015)—Two motorcyclists were injured Saturday afternoon as their charity ride made its way along State Road 144 just west of Bargersville.

Johnson County authorities say the two motorcyclists crashed near County Road 400 west around 4:15 p.m.

The two were part of a 100 motorcycle charity ride, one of several charity rides held in Johnson County, Saturday.

Ambulances took the two motorcyclists to St. Francis Hospital.  There was no word on the extent of their injuries.

State Road 144 was closed for about a half hour while investigators and crews worked to clear the scene.
