UPDATE: Murder charges against Brandon Robinson and Antonio Mitzs were dismissed.

Original story:

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 30, 2015)– A cold case has been solved after six years. Police say Brandon Robinson and 25-year-old Antonio Mitzs were involved in the murder of Lamont Wright.

Wright was killed in April 2009 on East 38th Street. Police say a witness came forward with more information about what happened.

The witness told police Wright’s girlfriend broke up with him the day of the shooting because he was abusive. As Wright left her house, Robinson, who is her son, and his friend Mitzs shot Wright multiple times.

Police were able to connect the shell casings to a gun confiscated from the suspects during a burglary arrest the next day. Robinson and Mitzs are being held at the Marion County Jail.
