CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 28, 2014) – Two musicians were not allowed to bring their violins on a US Airways flight, and they were kicked off the plane.

According to the musician’s YouTube page, they were trying to take a connecting flight from Charlotte to Fayetteville, Ark., to play at the Artosphere Arts and Nature Festival.

But the captain and crew told them their violins were not allowed on the flight, and they were left alone on the tarmac without any direction.

So they decided to play their violins on the runway.

US Airways later issued an apology, found them another flight, and wished them “good luck and good playing at the festival.”
