GREECE, NY (PIX11) – It’s been one year since Karen Klein, a New York bus monitor, was recorded being bullied on a school bus by three middle school boys.

The middle school boys were seen yelling in Klein’s face and at one point, threatening to cut her throat.

To which Klein simply responded, “Unless you have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Klein’s story spread quickly over the Internet, capturing the attention of news outlets and viewers around the world.

An online collection plate, in honor of Klein’s kindness and to send her on vacation, was started and raised $703,873 in donations.

So what has the the bus monitor whose kindness infected the entire world do now? The answer – the same as before.
