FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Nov. 4, 2014) – It wasn’t what an Arkansas couple expected when they came back home.
The couple returned to find an 18-year-old man in his underwear and covered in blood passed out in their guest bedroom, according to KFSM.
Gabriel Moore was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, criminal trespass, minor in possession of alcohol and fleeing.
The blood was from several cuts on his arms and legs, according to a police report.
The couple arrived home around 4:40 a.m. Saturday and found Moore before calling 911. Police tried to wake him up. When he finally stirred, they asked him if he knew where he was; police said he thought he was in his dorm room at the University of Arkansas.
Police then informed him he was in someone else’s home and had fallen asleep there. He was confused when talking to police and smelled of intoxicants, the report said.
Investigators noticed a large amount of broken glass from a sliding door, which is where the cuts had come from. The man, later identified as Moore, was found passed out in the guest bedroom near the front door, according to the report.
Officers let him use the restroom at the home after he said he felt like he had to urinate “on the floor.”
He then escaped through a bathroom window and ran off. He was later found and arrested.
Moore was booked into jail on Saturday and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
The couple estimated the damage to their home at $1,500.
