SANTA CLAUS (July 24, 2014) – It’s the largest expansion in Holiday World’s history—but what exactly will it be?

The theme park in Santa Claus, Ind., is set to make a major announcement for 2015 even though the summer season isn’t over yet. The park said it’s pouring $22 million into the expansion. It launched a website in May to tease the project and also set up a “construction cam” so guests can follow along.

Internet speculation points to a new roller coaster, but Holiday World officials are keeping quiet ahead of Thursday night’s announcement.

“I cannot confirm nor deny that this project includes a roller coaster,” said Matt Eckert, president of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. “But I can confirm that this is by far the largest expansion project in our seven-decade history.”

You can watch a live stream of the announcement at the Holiday World website. It’s planned for 9:15 p.m. Eastern (8:15 p.m. Central).
