Officers find guns, ammo, drugs in car after stopping driver for running red light

MUNCIE, Ind. (Dec. 30, 2015) – A traffic stop in Muncie led to the discovery of several weapons and drugs, Indiana conservation officers said.

In an update posted on Facebook, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said the officers saw a car run a red light and pulled it over around 3:30 p.m. Monday. Inside the vehicle, they found guns, drugs, a black skull mask and other items.

Here’s a rundown of what the officers discovered:

  • Rifle with fully loaded 40-round magazine
  • Handgun with two 15-round magazines
  • Individually packaged measured amounts of marijuana
  • Prescription pills
  • Roll of $100 bills
  • Facemask
  • Black gloves
  • Police-style expandable baton
  • Box of jewelry

Conservation officers said potential charges against the driver, Clayton Ball, include possession of prescription medication without a prescription.
