Heartland Automotive expanding, will add 200 jobs

An auto parts supplier is expansion in Central Indiana and that will mean new jobs for Hoosiers.

Heartland Automotive will spend $38 million to add on to its Lafayette factory. Ninety people currently work at the plant.

The company plans to add more than 200 jobs over the next two years.

Heartland makes interior parts for Subaru’s nearby car-assembly plant.
