INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 26, 2013)– OneAmerica is taking submissions for their signboard that often has witty or clever statements.

The OneAmerica signboard is back in Indianapolis after a year long hiatus with its quirky sayings. It is now coming back to Illinois St. in the heart of downtown.

They are seeking “clever quips, puns and humorous play-on-words for the signboard’s first message,” according to their website.

Topics can range from sports, current events, seasonal or holiday messages, and should be submitted by midnight on Dec. 30.

Sayings cannot exceed three lines of 21 spaces each including all punctuation and spaces. Be humorous, but keep it cool. Inspirational sayings, political statements, advertising or insulting, off-color remarks will not be used.

Here are some examples from their website:

Do accordianists
play both ends
against the middle?

Sign at a dairy farm:
All we have
we owe to udders

Scream saver

Chilly Powder

Cold Front:
What happens when
you forget your coat

Colts win!
Have no pity
on Steel City!
