Pacers to help the blood supply rebound after holiday weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 27, 2014) – The Indiana Pacers are stepping up to help rebound Indiana’s blood supply after the long holiday weekend.

The team urges fans across Indiana to donate blood as they make final preparations for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat.

Indiana Blood Center was unable to meet the full demand to hospitals Tuesday morning, falling some 61 units short after the holiday weekend.

Those who visit Indiana Blood Center donor centers will receive a t-shirt, while supplies last, and will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win two Legends Club Level tickets to Game 5 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday, May 28.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 28, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
