Coroner’s office identifies 21-year-old man fatally shot on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers were called to the scene in the 7100 block of Kingswood Ct. shortly after 10:15 p.m. Monday.

They found a 21-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Ryan Brown.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, and the coroner ruled his death a homicide. The case remains under investigation, IMPD said.
