INDIANAPOLIS — A man was shot and killed Tuesday on the north side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police were called to E. 38th Street and N. Meridian Street on a report of a person shot around 8 p.m.
IMPD said officers arrived to find a man shot in the passenger side of a car parked in the parking lot adjacent to a business on the southeast corner of the intersection. The man — later identified as 30-year-old Carlos Hale Jr. — was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
