INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after being shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, police were called to the 9200 block of East 42nd Street.
Officers arrived to find a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Police say the person was not shot at the location that he was found. Officers are working to determine where the shooting took place.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
