Police looking for driver in fatal hit-and-run crash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 28, 2014) — Indianapolis Metro Police are looking for the driver of a pick-up they believe was involved in a fatal hit and run crash Saturday night.

Officers were called to the intersection of Carson Avenue and Bacon Street where they found an unidentified male with severe injuries from being struck by a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe the victim was hit by a pick-up traveling on and also fled northbound on Carson Avenue.

Police are looking for a dark colored 2004 or 2005 Ford Ranger pickup truck, with a heavily damaged grill and passenger side headlight.
