INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 19, 2015) — A person was shot and another person pistol-whipped during a home invasion on the city’s west side Monday night.

According to IMPD, two armed suspects entered a home around 10:20 p.m. in the 4500 block of West 30th Street. One resident was shot in the back and transported to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.

A second person was pistol-whipped and was treated and released at the scene.

Nothing was taken from the home.
