Missing Plainfield man found safe after Silver Alert

Plainfield police said McCormick was found safe in northern Indiana. He’s in good condition and was on his way home with detectives.

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (April 26, 2015) – Police are asking for help locating a 92-year-old man with dementia.

Plainfield police say Alfred McCormick went missing from his home on Colony Lake West Dr. on Sunday around 8 p.m.

McCormick was last seen driving away from his home in a 2005 green Ford Focus after telling his wife he was “going home.” He was wearing a dark shirt and tan pants.

It is unclear which direction McCormick was headed when he left his home, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
