HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (May 4, 2015) – A small engine plane crashed into a pickup truck while attempting to make an emergency landing Monday.
The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of US 224 and State Road 5.
At this time, that intersection is closed to traffic while investigators continue to gather information to determine why the single engine plane attempted to make an emergency landing before striking the rear of the stopped pickup truck.
Fortunately, everyone involved suffered only minor injuries.
